Job Description

The Production Technician will be responsible for the safe manufacturing of refractory monolithic products. This includes the movement of materials for production, setup and operation of equipment and machinery, and loading/unloading materials and finished goods.

Duties Include:

1. Setting up, adjusting, and operating machinery to support production, adhering to schedules and quality standards.
2. Troubleshooting equipment stoppages and reacting accordingly.
3. Reading work orders and recording material usage.
4. Checking for quality standards and securing loads for transportation.
5. Reviewing blueprints and documentation for machine setup and quality checks.
6. Performing routine maintenance and process adjustments.
7. Documenting process changes and assisting in process improvements.
8. Collaborating with Maintenance Technicians for machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
9. Supporting safety policies and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office experience is a plus.
• Strong reading and math skills.
• 2-4 years of machine operating or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment and work overtime.
• Attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
