Ball Corporation in Ft. Atkinson, WI is hiring a Production Technician to join a rotating shift crew. You will observe SOPs, operate and adjust high-speed production equipment, and support preventative maintenance in a safety‑conscious environment.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year in a mechanical field, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The shift is 12.25 hours, 3 days on/3 days off, with days-to-nights rotation every nine weeks.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and safety policies including PPE and emergency procedures.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with designated team with integrity and effective communication.

PositionOverview:

As aProduction Technician, you’re a member of a production crew, reporting to a supervisor of an assigned production area. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

Candidate must be able to accommodate a rotating swing shift schedule. Our crews work 12.25 hour days; 3 days on/3 days off; rotates days to nights every nine weeks. Can line starts at 5:45 AM/PM and ends at 6:00 PM/AM.

YourKeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate,adjust,and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assistwith performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspectaluminiumfor proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

RequiredExperience andSkills:

• High School Diploma orequivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field withdemonstratedmechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiencyin the use of hand and power tools.

PreferredExperienceandSkills:

• 2years’work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
