Chobani is seeking a Production Technician II to operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain production and packaging equipment in a state-of-the-art aseptic facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and process improvements with potential domestic travel during training.

The schedule is 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM). Responsibilities include setup, monitoring, minor repairs, data recording, and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2 years with automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical equipment.
• 1 year experience monitoring/product quality testing; Computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Basic math skills for production calculations and loss/waste analysis.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Comfort with extended hours and flexible department assignments.
• Aseptic manufacturing experience preferred.

Summary

The Production Technician II operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains production and packaging equipment to maximize operational efficiency and maintain Chobani's high standards in safety and quality in a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility. This includes preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and making minor adjustments. This role will also be engaged in the improvement of manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. There will be a potential for domestic travel during the training period.

2-2-3 12 hour schedule: 6:00AM - 6:30PM

Responsibilities

• Performs duties with a safety first approach
• Ensures work areas are clean and organized at all times
• Set up machinery and replenish production materials as needed.
• Operate and monitor line for defective materials and perform other related work in accordance with line quality.
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Record all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.).
• Perform standard work for Autonomous (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities.
• Perform machine changeovers and clean and sanitize all equipment

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working with and on automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical mechanical equipment
• 1 years prior experience monitoring and performing product quality testing Computer and software skills (Microsoft Office)
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical skills to make production calculations and perform loss and waste analysis
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently without assistance
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motion Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor with some frequency of computer work
• Must be available to work extended hours and flexible time in different departments based on business needs
• Aseptic manufacturing experience preferred

The salary range for this full-time position is $25.50 - $33.50, + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
