Production Technician I, Fill Weekend Shift (6:45am-2:45pm)

This role is part of our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives. You will work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring that life‑saving products are produced on time, under quality and safety standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust manual and automated filling equipment and machines using HMI or manual controls.
  • Set‑up load and replenish production supplies using a powered industrial truck (PIT).
  • Perform minor routine and preventative maintenance such as alignment adjustments, part replacements, cleaning and lubrication under TPM.
  • Reconcile headcount needs per shift based on production demands.
  • Conduct scheduled quality checks, identify deviations, and take corrective action including stopping production.
  • Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Complete batch/code changes, tank changes, and sub‑lottings as required.
  • Document information on manufacturing logs and the POMS system.
  • Troubleshoot and correct machine performance issues (mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment).
  • Develop standard work for troubleshooting and setup/changeovers.
  • Read blueprints, measure product, and perform necessary adjustments/repairs.
  • Document scheduled cleaning activities.
  • Assist in quality improvement or VIP programs as needed.
  • Coordinate training requirements for line staff with Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor.
  • Train new associates on responsible processes.
  • Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
  • Adhere to cGMP, SOPs, and safety instructions.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, age 18 or older.
  • Preference for CRC Silver level certification.
  • Prior production technician or manufacturing experience with preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
  • Basic written and oral English communication skills.
  • Understanding of visual safety and quality instructions; ability to interpret written instructions, drawings, and words.
  • Basic mathematics and ability to use a calculator and measurement tools.
  • Proficient with basic hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent grasping, pushing/pulling, reaching with hands and arms; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pass Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) physical.
  • Normal visual acuity and color discrimination.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, climb, reach, kneel, twist, and maintain balance as required.
Compensation

Annual salary: $44,000.00.
