QuVa Pharma in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Production Technician I - Prep/Clean Room Support. This full-time, second-shift role supports cleanrooms, formulations, ILP, and compounding, following established procedures to ensure quality and safety in pharmaceutical products.

The position is based on site at Sugar Land and requires adherence to sterile operating environment rules. You will perform material preparation/processing tasks, document activities, maintain aseptic gowning qualifications,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to pass background check.
• Able and willing to walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Comfortable using mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, handhelds).
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Support cleanrooms, formulations, ILP, and compounding.
• Assist in preparation, transport, labeling, production, and processing of materials.
• Daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of rooms and equipment per standards.
• Maintain Aseptic Gowning Qualification for cleaning support.
• Complete documentation for accountability and traceability per GDPs.
• Manage FEFO of chemicals and remove expired items monthly.
• Document activities per established procedures.
• Perform sterile filter integrity testing as required.

Our Production Technician I - Prep/Cleanroom Support Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include assisting in Prep/Cleanroom operations at QuVa Pharma in accordance with established processes and procedures. Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. This is a full-time role for our 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Sugar Land, TX location.

This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.

What the Production Technician I - Prep/Clean Room Support Does Each Day:

• Support cleanrooms, formulations, ILP, and compounding
• Assist in preparation, transportation, labeling, production, and processing of materials
• Daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of rooms and equipment while adhering to standards
• Maintain Aseptic Gowning Qualification to support cleaning
• Complete necessary documents for accountability and traceability of product following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
• Manage FEFO of chemicals, pulling expired ones monthly
• Complete documentation of activities in accordance with established procedures
• Perform sterile filter integrity testing as required

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to successfully complete a background check
• Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Familiarity with and comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds
• Able and willing to follow strict clothing and accessory rules to support our sterile operating environment
• 18+ years of age
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva will not sponsor applicants for work visas

Any of the Following Will Give You an Edge:

• Experience in a role requiring repetitive tasks
• Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
• 1-year of pharmaceutical manufacturing
• CPhT Certification
• ACPE Sterile Certification
