Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA is seeking an assembly technician to support Detector Packaging Operations in a cleanroom environment. Under supervision, you will progressively develop technical skills and work on assembly of optical/detector components.

Responsibilities include aqueous ultrasonic cleaning, laser marking, wirebonding, vacuum packaging, and documentation. The role requires attention to detail, cleanroom knowledge, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or GED required.
• Typically requires 2-4 years of technical, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocols.
• Experience handling ESD-sensitive components and hardware.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required protective equipment, including shoe covers, hair covers, coveralls, face masks, and gloves, for extended periods.
• Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods while performing detailed assembly work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Under the supervision of the Detector Packaging Manager, provide assembly support to Detector Packaging Operations. A progressively increasing level of proficiency is required in the technical skills listed. Work environment is clean room / lab.

Salary Range

$39,000.00-$52,000.000
