• Keep work area clean and organized using SS principles.
• Meet scheduled production requirements, while assuring quality standards.
• Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, recommending process improvements.
• Perform necessary inspections of turbochargers in process; stopping production when non-conformities are detected.

• Base Pay $18.00 - $18.90 / Hour

Safely assemble and inspect Turbochargers in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high quality standards to meet production demands.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Clean all components prior to assembly; testing as required.

2.Perform assigned assembly functions, following operator work instructions.

3.Inspect work thoroughly to ensure quality standards are met, notifying supervisor of possible quality issue.

4.Complete move tags and all documentation as required.

5.Keep work area clean and organized using SS principles.

6.Meet scheduled production requirements, while at the same time, assuring quality standards are met.

7.Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Performs all duties as assigned by supervisor/lead such as 5S, housekeeping, cardboard recycling, TPM event improvements, cross-training, rework, etc.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Report any unsafe practices and/or conditions to their supervisor.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any defective PPE.
• Report all near-misses, incidents, injuries, illness, including mobile equipment or property damage.
• Participation in the site safety and health program.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• B e able to lift and or move up to 50lbs.
• Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed.
• Repetitive standing, bending, turning, and twisting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach at arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to use power tools, air tools, and other vibratory tools.
• Must be able to pass a, physical, with drug/alcohol test and background screen
• Full dexterity in joints (shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers), involving continuous repetitive motion for most line workstations. Use of hands to handle or feel.
• May be required to use forklifts, industrial equipment, carts, pallet jacks and all other equipment related to material handling
• Standing: up to 12 hrs.
• Use of both hands, arms, and shoulders (full range of motion)
