Job summary

Biovire is seeking a Production Technician to join a compliant, fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing team on multiple shifts. You will operate equipment, set up processes, perform troubleshooting, and help mentor newer operators while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with production leadership to ensure quality and compliance across all manufacturing steps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems (HMI/SCADA preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
• Ability to mentor teammates and work cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Operate automated manufacturing systems including HMI and SCADA interfaces.

Our Production team plays a critical role in safely manufacturing and packaging products that improve and save lives.

The Role

The Production Technician performs advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing operations supporting dispensing, formulation, aseptic filling, packaging, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and production support activities. The role partners closely with Production leadership to maintain efficient, compliant, and reliable manufacturing operations while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring less experienced operators.

Shift Opportunities

• First Shift (7AM–3:30PM)
• Second Shift (3:00PM – 11:30PM + Shift Premium Pay)
• Third Shift (11:00PM – 7:30AM + Shift Premium Pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems (HMI/SCADA preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
• Ability to mentor teammates and work cross-functionally
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
