Job summary

King City Gardens is seeking Cannabis Production Technicians to help manufacture our products from early stages to ready-for-dispensaries units, supporting distribution statewide and to customers.

You'll work on a high-volume manual production line, manipulating flower and oil, weighing, packing, labeling, and meeting cycle times while maintaining quality and hygiene per GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old as required by state law.
• Ability to learn and adapt to cannabis strains.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced manual production line.
• Knowledge of GMP preferred.

JobSummary:

Cannabis Production Technicians are directly involved in manufacturing our products from the initial stages to final sale-ready units that will be distributed to dispensaries throughout the state and ultimately into the hands of our customers who enjoy our top-of-the-line branded products.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manipulating flower andoil.
• Weighing, stuffing, and rollingproducts.
• Labeling, stickering, and packaging finishedgoods.
• Required to hit specific cycle times in eachposition
• Required to work in a high-volume manual production assembly line and achieve both individual and team performance goals

RequiredSkills/Abilities:

• Must be at least 21 years old, as required by statelaw.
• Ability to work well with others andindependently.
• Ability to learn and adapt to various strains, styles, and types ofcannabis.
• Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment to meet goals without sacrificingquality.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of health and hygiene as required byOSHA.
• Ability to follow instructions and be receptive to feedback/coaching from the management team to maintain product quality.

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturingposition.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing consumable goods ispreferred.
• Must have working knowledge of GMP (Good ManufacturingPractices).

PhysicalRequirements:

• Must be physically capable of standing or sitting for longperiods.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must have full use of arms and fingers for fine manipulation ofcannabis.
• Must be capable of repetitive motions using hands and arms while working withcannabis.
• Must be willing and able to wear all mandatory Personal Protective Equipmentprovided
