Overview

DuPont is hiring a Production Technician for our Valley View site. The role involves operating light manufacturing equipment in a clean, climate‑controlled facility. The position is on the 2nd shift (2:00p.m. – 10:30p.m.) and may require overtime and flexible hours.

Shift & Pay

Starting wage is $23.83 per hour. 2nd or 3rd shifts receive a $2.50 per hour shift premium (3:00p.m.–7:00a.m.). One bonus payment of $1,000 is awarded upon completion of onboarding/training and 90 days of employment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and conformance with standard operating procedures and equipment instructions.
• Operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment.
• Visually inspect final products for defects, foreign object debris, and adherence to customer specifications.
• Use inspection gauges, including micrometers, calipers, automated gauges (Keyence), and templates.
• Complete in‑house training to obtain visual and dimensional inspection stamps.

Education & Experience

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work the required shift and lift up to 55lb. and wear a respirator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and 5S organizational practices.
• Prior line or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Prior leadership experience in a related field.
