Job summary

A global animal health company located in Sarasota, FL seeks a Production Technician to support production operations. This full-time, entry-level role offers an hourly rate of $17.50 and includes training.   • Operate, care for and maintain production fermentation processing equipment.
  • Assemble and disassemble valves and manufacturing equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between production runs.
  • Accurately weigh raw material for production.
  • Participate in inventory counts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to SOPs and GMP practices.

Production Technician

Phibro Animal Health Corporation is a publicly traded global organization manufacturing and marketing medicated feed additives, vaccines, nutritional specialty products, and mineral nutrition. The Production Technician is an integral part of the Manufacturing team at our US – Sarasota, FL site.

Position Details
  • Full‑time, entry‑level.
  • 1st shift, Monday‑Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm with some mandatory overtime.
  • Hourly rate: $17.50.
  • Location: US – Sarasota, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, care for and routinely maintain production fermentation processing equipment.
  • Assemble and disassemble valves and manufacturing equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each production run.
  • Accurately weigh raw material for production.
  • Participate in inventory counts.
  • Perform daily duties safely in a fast‑paced, team environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) (hair net, beard net, face mask, foot covers, lab coat, protective footwear).
  • Required to push or pull 21–50 lbs.
  • Required to lift or carry 21–50 lbs.
  • Required to squat or kneel constantly.
  • Able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break.
