Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Mankato, MN is hiring a Production Technician. Starting pay is $30.91 per hour with a 5% shift differential for night shifts.

The role follows a 4 day on, 4 day off, 12 hour shift schedule with shifts from 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am. Benefits include stock purchase, medical/dental/vision, 401k, life insurance, and more. The Production Technician ensures quality and mechanical performance of line and production output while recording unit quality data.

Qualifications

  • Pass mechanical aptitude test.
  • Pass written aptitude test.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, repair, overhaul and evaluate all end line equipment to maintain standard quality and quantity of production.
  • Disassemble, replace, and reassemble all tools and dies.
  • Measure and record all end dimensions against specifications.
  • Inspect in-process ends and raw materials at all stages to ensure quality requirements.
  • Perform mechanical repair and maintenance for production.
  • Operate mechanical hoists and forklifts.
  • Maintain records of production and quality, including isolating poor-quality product.
  • Report quality problems to plant supervisor.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed; maintain good housekeeping.

Starting pay is $30.91 per hour and an additional 5% shift differential for night shift. The Production Technician has primary responsibility for quality and mechanical performance of line and standard production output and recording of unit quality and associated data. This position's schedule aligns with our continuous operating schedule and works a 4 day on 4 day off 12 hour shift schedule. Shift times are 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.
