Job summary

Bastian Automation in Indiana is seeking a Production Technician I to assemble volume material handling equipment. This role focuses on production assembly with opportunities to assist in other departments as needed.

Key duties include following standardized work, rotating within cells, signing off on tasks for traceability, and maintaining 6S housekeeping standards. No travel is required; attendance and safety are emphasized, with a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Read and follow standardized work and job instructions to assemble, inspect and prepare for shipping product in a safe and efficient manner to quantity and quality specifications of assigned work cell.
• Rotate job assignments within a job cell as well as in other cells as required.
• Sign off on work performed for traceability.
• Perform 6S duties as required and maintain housekeeping standards of cell assigned.

A Production Technician I for Bastian Automation will be responsible for general assembly of volume material handling equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is production assembly, other duties may include assisting in other departments.
