Job summary

Steelhead Composites is hiring for production team members in multiple areas, offering on-the-job training and opportunities to learn a skilled trade in advanced manufacturing. No prior experience required, with focus on reliability, attention to detail, and safety.

Positions available in Final Aesthetics and Filament Winding, with cross-training across several processes. Starting pay ranges from $15.16 to $22.00 per hour and includes benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely following manufacturing procedures.

• Cross-train in multiple production areas including composite processing, filament winding, finishing, assembly, material preparation, equipment operation, inspection, and pressure testing support.

Job description

We are currently looking for team members in the following production areas:

• Final Aesthetics


• Filament Winding

Previous manufacturing experience is welcome, but it is not required. Steelhead will provide on-the-job training and help each new team member develop the skills needed to safely operate equipment, follow manufacturing procedures, inspect their work, and produce high-quality composite products.

We are looking for dependable people who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and are willing to learn. These positions are an opportunity to begin a career in advanced manufacturing and develop a skilled trade, not simply find another job.

Production team members may be cross-trained in multiple areas, including composite processing, filament winding, finishing, assembly, material preparation, equipment operation, inspection, and pressure testing support. The right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important than having a long résumé.

Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Pay Range: $15.16 to $22.00 per hour. Starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
