Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Restoration Technician to support fire, water and mold cleanup projects. You will prepare rooms, set up equipment, assist with restoration processes and ensure a clean, safe job site while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with overtime and occasional travel to local projects. Prior experience in cleaning/restoration and IICRC certifications are preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with a foundation in customer service.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration or construction industry preferred.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
• Background check as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes.
• Perform production/restoration processes as directed.
• Perform end‑of‑day/end‑of‑job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Maintain an organized warehouse space. Clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds, as assigned.
• Develop restoration expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.
• Other tasks/duties as required by employer.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements: This is a full‑time position working 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected. After hours on‑call is required on a rotational basis.
