Job summary

SKF Group in Elgin, IL is seeking a dedicated machine operator to support safe, efficient production processes in a high-growth environment. You will run process equipment, help maintain a clean workplace, and collaborate with teammates to meet quality and productivity goals.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, at least two years in manufacturing, and good English reading skills. Training starts on the first shift (6am–2pm) and there is a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and

• Two years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with equipment operations such as molding rubber components, spraying adhesives and grit blasting metals.
• Good English reading and comprehension.
• Must be available to work split shift.
• Candidate must have a strong desire to be part of a high growth company with a results-oriented culture.
• Ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds.
• New hire would start on first shift (6am – 2pm) for training.
• This position is compliant to US government ITAR requirements.

Job Function:

Operation of process equipment and others as assigned in a safe and efficient manner. Assist others to provide and organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker rooms. Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as a team. Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed. Other duties assigned.
