Job summary

Vogt Aero, LLC in Chandler, AZ is seeking a full-time Production Technician to join our operations and manufacturing team. You will review workflow sequencing to ensure quality and follow Vogt Aero quality manual and VA processes.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, technical ability to assemble, test, and inspect aerospace components, and a hunger to grow with our family-owned company.

Qualifications

  • Technological literacy, including familiarity with server and storage systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with establishing and streamlining processes, procedures & work orders for Vogt Aero manufacturing.
  • Assemble, test, and inspect aerospace components following quality standards and processes.
  • Execute manufacturing procedures in accordance with defined processes.
  • Manage Work Orders and documentation.
  • Collaborate with inventory control to align manufacturing priorities.
  • Maintain part/article traceability through inventory tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with document management policies and procedures.
  • Support special projects as assigned and assist with reports.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to meet production schedules and safety protocols.
  • Participate in facility needs and assist in all areas as required.

Job description

Vogt Aero is seeking a full-time Production Technician to work join our team in the area of operations and manufacturing.The Production Technician reviews workflow sequencing and to ensure the best possible quality will be attained. All team members shall be familiar with the policies and procedures outlined in the Vogt Aero quality manual and all VA processes and procedures that are applicable.

The ideal team member must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, technological literacy, and the technical ability to complete build-up of minor parts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a company that can offer multiple opportunities to grow.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist with establishing and streamlining processes, procedures & work orders for Vogt Aero manufacturing.
  • Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting aerospace. components in accordance with quality standards and manufacturing processes.
  • Execute the manufacturing procedures in accordance with the processes.
  • Manage Work Orders and documentation.
  • Work closely with inventory control to ensure manufacturing priorities are being adhered to.
  • Maintain Document Control with maintaining part/article traceability through inventory tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to document management.
  • Provide support for special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports as needed.
  • Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and machinery, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure adherence to production schedules and safety protocols.
  • Participate as needed with in facility needs.
  • Assist in all areas of the company as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the team member is required read write speak & understand English. The team member is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, lift 10-30 pounds on occasion, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or associate degrees are advantageous.
Compensation

This compensation is dependent on experience with a range of $50,000 - $65,000.
