Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Production Technician in Carson, CA to perform electrical, mechanical, and lighting assembly, testing, and repair in a manufacturing setting. You will work from blueprints and SOPs to assemble components, interpret wiring and connectors, and ensure quality standards.

The role includes soldering, crimping, epoxy/paint mixing, documenting procedures, and supporting other production duties as needed. 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings/specifications
• Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
• Knowledge with using solder system, wire stripper and crimpers preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per blueprints, specifications and SOPs
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and lighting assemblies
• Perform inspections and verify quality of assemblies
• Complete technical documentation for processes and results
• Solder, fit, and apply epoxies/paints as specified and assist with related duties

Salary: USD23 - USD26 per hour

The Production Technician is responsible for performing electrical, mechanical, and lighting assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities in a manufacturing environment. This role works from blueprints, specifications, and standard operating procedures to assemble components, prepare and process wiring and connectors, conduct inspections, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or adjustments. The technician utilizes a variety of hand tools, test equipment, and calibrated instruments while ensuring adherence to quality standards and production requirements. Additional responsibilities include soldering, fitting, mixing epoxies and paints according to specifications, completing required technical documentation, verifying the quality of assemblies and completed products, and supporting other production-related duties as assigned.
