The Production Technician I is responsible for producing laboratory consumables that are used by customers in manufacturing. The areas of responsibility for manufacturing include utilization of light tooling, equipment set up, light maintenance and keeping your work area clean in accordance with our quality and operational standards. Daily tasks involve but are not limited to, weighing, mixing, handling very small objects, operating heating devices and utilization of other small mechanical tools. In addition, the position will assist with quality inspection and packaging operations for these products. This position will be responsible for maintaining and updating process documentation.

This opportunity is based on a Production Associate career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Technician.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
