Job summary

Vervic Inc. in Decatur, Alabama is seeking a Production Technician for 1st shift. You will help keep the production line running, stock supplies, monitor packaging, clear jams, inspect finished cartons, and report quality concerns.

We look for dependable team players with at least one year in a manufacturing role, who are detail-oriented, safety-minded, and eager to learn. This on-site role offers a clear daytime schedule and possibilities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Stocking the production line with cartons, shippers, glue, and other supplies.
• Monitoring the packaging line to ensure products move safely and efficiently.
• Removing obstructions and clearing jams to minimize downtime.
• Inspecting finished cartons to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Alerting machine operators when quality concerns arise.
• Reworking products that do not pass inspections or quality checks.
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and properly sanitized.
• Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
• Adhering to GMPs and dress code requirements.
• Rotating positions and assisting teammates as needed.
• Reporting food safety or quality concerns to management or QA.
• Performing other duties to support the production team.

Production Technician – 1st Shift

Location: Decatur, AL

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $16.05 per hour

What You'll Do

As a Production Technician, you'll help keep our production line running smoothly by:

• Reporting any food safety or quality concerns to management or the Quality Assurance team.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support the production team.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand for the duration of your shift.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds.

• Climb ladders as needed during cleaning or maintenance activities.
