Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Production Team Partner to operate washrooms in Kernersville, NC. You will load/unload washers and dryers, deliver finished garments, and help maintain production flow on the floor. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and a 40-hour workweek with weekends off.

You should be able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 40 lbs, read and communicate clearly, and work well in a team. Benefits include health coverage, 401K, and various employee programs.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash – Load, unload and operate washing machines by wash load formulation, processing sequence, and proper sling weight.
• Dry – Load and unload the dryers.
• Deliver processed garments to designated finishing area.
• Deliver processed flatgoods to designated area.
• Monitor detergent supply and report all equipment malfunctions.
• Report all production processes accurately.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Complete paperwork and recordkeeping in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.

Here you will be loading and unloading industrialwashers and dryers. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday andSunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.
