Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family in Springfield, MO. You will work as a team to unload soiled products, separate by type, weigh and store, and handle account modifications.

We offer on-the-job training, a 40-hour week with weekends off, and a strong benefits package. As part of our production team, you’ll experience cross-training, opportunity for advancement, and a family culture that values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push carts up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using standard units.

Responsibilities

• Unload soiled products from trucks.
• Separate products by type.
• Weigh soiled products and hoist/store until next process.
• Handle reductions and/or modifications to the customer's account (either adding or removing product).
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.

As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be working as a team to clear out soiled products from our service trucks. This is where our production process begins every morning. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.
