Samuel Son & Co Inc. is seeking motivated general labor candidates to join our production team in Georgia. The role involves operating packaging equipment, following safety and ISO training, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area.

Ideal candidates will lift 50-100 lbs, stand for long periods, have basic math skills, and possess 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must lift 50-100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand 8-12 hours.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete required general safety training.
• Complete ISO training.
• Complete forklift safety training.
• Operate packaging equipment and machines.
• Familiar with packaging specifications.
• Identify quality issues and report to Production Lead.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Respond quickly to line stops and help restore line operation.
• Maintain organized supply of production materials and report shortages to Production Lead.
• Prepare for shift and plan needs to minimize downtime.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Production Lead.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completion of general safety training.

• Ability to operate packaging equipment and machines.
• Familiarity with packaging specifications.
• Identify quality issues and report to Production Lead.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Quickly respond to any line stops and assist in making the line operational again.
• Maintain an organized supply of production supplies, and report any shortages to Production Lead.
• Prepare for shift and proactively plan for items needed during production to minimize lost time.
• Perform any other task assigned by the Production Lead.
