Hentzen Coatings, Inc. is hiring a Production Team Member on the 1st shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) in Greenville, SC. You will assemble finished goods, operate mixing/milling equipment, and perform color/quality checks.

Requires basic math, forklift certification preferred, and ability to lift up to 65 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent and manufacturing experience preferred. Compensation is $19.00–$24.00 per hour, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1 st shift, (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

Pay Range:$19.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Summary

The Production Team Member performs manufacturing tasks required to assemble product/finished goods orders for customers.

• Operates mixing and milling equipment to process batch.
• Conducts and/or works with Quality Control for color and quality control testing and makes adjustments as required.
• Operates pumps to fill product.
• Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
• Under supervision and with proper PPE, the employee will be required to handle hazardous materials.
• Clean up and properly store equipment used. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
• Cleans production vessels as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• Preferred education level: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience level: Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical industry with a strong preference for experience with milling machines.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic math skills and the ability to convert various measurements (i.e., gallons to quarts, pints to gallons, etc.) required.
• Forklift certification is strongly preferred and the ability to use a pallet jack.
• Ability to communicate with others, both verbally and written.
• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
• Color tinting and Quality Control experience helpful but not required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly in a manufacturing or operational setting.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and move throughout the work area.
• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, manipulate, and control objects, tools, or equipment.
• Required to sit, balance, stoop, and occasionally reach above shoulder level.
• Occasional operation of machinery using foot controls
• May be required to climb, balance, and reach overhead as part of job duties.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 65 lbs.
