Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Production Team Member to join our Production department. The role performs manufacturing operations across departments, following standard methods and safe work habits to keep production efficient and safe.

The position emphasizes teamwork to produce products that meet quality standards while supporting productivity goals, with a focus on asset protection and proactive communication of material shortages and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to product products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
