Job summary

Smithfield Foods in the United States is recruiting production team members to handle materials, operate tools and machinery, and help deliver good food responsibly to America’s dinner table. This work is physically demanding, requiring good stamina and the ability to work 12-hour shifts with possible overtime.

We offer hourly starting pay of $21.42 with a $0.25/hour shift differential for 3rd shift, comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits and an education benefit on day one.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and use hand tools, knives, machinery to produce food.
• Stand for long shifts and perform physically demanding work.
• Follow oral and written instructions and work overtime as needed.
• Operate in cold/warm environments and wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
