Job summary

Columbia Forest Products is seeking candidates to operate machinery across varying duties in a manufacturing environment in Wisconsin. Individuals will follow written and verbal instructions, handle and grade materials, and perform quality checks while maintaining safety and efficiency on the line.

The role requires feedback, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to rotating duties, with emphasis on teamwork and maintaining equipment safety in a high-paced setting.

Job description

Successful candidates must be able to work in various jobs which can include rotating to different job duties. These job duties could include various machine operators, handling material, grading material, quality checks, clean up, and other similar manufacturing activities. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions. Being able to provide feedback and apply critical thinking are other keys to this position. Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced fork lift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of the year.
