Job summary

Lear Hebron Plant is seeking a Production Team Member to manufacture quality seating components in a safe environment. You will insert inserts into molds, remove finished pads, inspect products, and help prepare items for shipment. The role may involve basic hand tools and special assembly tools, and requires standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Place inserts into seating molds as specified by customer standards.
• Remove finished foam seating pads from molds and place parts on a conveyor for next finishing stage.
• Remove foam particles from molds and apply a thin layer of demolding agent.
• Inspect product quality and repair defects; cut back to contour as needed.
• Pack finished goods according to placard specifications.
• Disassemble scrapped products to salvage material.
• Clean surrounding work areas and perform other duties as assigned.

PRODUCTION WORKER

Summary

The primary role of the Production Team Member is to manufacture quality products in a safe manner. The operator will be responsible for inserting various components into molds, removing the finished products from the molds, cleaning the molds, inspecting and repairing the finished goods as necessary prior to shipment. The role may require the use of simple hand tools and/or special assembly tools.

Responsibilities

• Place all applicable inserts (support wires, Velcro, seat frames, felt pieces, etc.) into the seating molds as specified by customer standards.
• Remove finished foam seating pads from their molds, place parts on a conveyor for the next stage of the finishing process.
• Remove any obvious foam particles from molds and apply a thin layer of demolding agent (aerosol wax) to the surface of the molds.
• Inspect product quality.
• Repair marked defects and cut back to the contour of the part.
• Pack finished goods according to placard specification.
• Disassemble scrapped products to salvage material.
• Clean surrounding work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass pre‑hire requirements (Background check, Drug Screening, etc.).

Experience Requirements

• Light to medium manufacturing experience (bonus if you have).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk long periods of time.
