Bowling Green Metalforming L.L.C. seeks a Production Team Member for 3rd shift to produce quality parts on time, following SOPs and quality standards. The role emphasizes adherence to safety and Magna policies, with opportunities for overtime and cross-area support.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor weld robots to meet quality standards.
• Follow SOPs to meet cycle times and quality requirements.
• Maintain production records including scrap and rework.
• Keep the work area clean and safe; report any safety issues.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts and process changes.
• Ensure attendance and shift coverage; work overtime as needed.
• Communicate issues to leaders regarding Safety, Quality, and Production.
• Support other areas as directed by leadership.
• Adhere to Magna's policies and environmental guidelines.
• Document production activities accurately.
• Complete job tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to produce quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Magna Employee’s Charter and the policies and procedures of BGM1. Know and understand Bowling Green Metalforming Quality and Environmental policies.2. Follow Standard Operating Procedures established for each workstation to meet required cycle times and quality standards.3. Maintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets BGM standards, to include the changing of weld tips, wire spools, and cleaning of nozzles to ensure efficiency of weld robots.4. Comply with our quality culture to ensure quality products- “Do not take one, do not make one, and do not pass one along”.5. Maintain proper documentation of production, scrap and rework.6. Flexible to work overtime.7. Support your assigned area and/or any area in the plant that requires support as directed by your leader.8. Utilize the systems in place to promote continuous improvement.9. Communicate openly with your leaders to escalate issues concerning Safety, Quality, and Production.10. Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.11.
