Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a Team Lead to ensure production processes run smoothly and to drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on leading Tier 1 meetings, enforcing metrics, and implementing countermeasures while maintaining data integrity for Tier 1 and 2 boards.

You will coach operators, conduct lean audits, and support supervisors in developing training plans to raise performance and safety in the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Tier 1/2 teams in manufacturing environments.
• Strong Lean knowledge with track record of process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 1 meetings and ensure metrics are reviewed and countermeasures are implemented.
• Maintain data integrity for Tier 1 and 2 boards.
• Assign operators to daily work and ensure training and certifications are up to date.
• Perform lean process audits and maintain safety and housekeeping in the Tier 1 area.
• Provide training, coaching, and feedback to operators on lean tools and methods.
• Support production supervisors in identifying development needs and training plans.

Provide training, demonstration and coaching to assigned process/team on lean tools and methodology• Assist production supervisors with assessing team member development needs and developing training plans• Hold regular engagements and GEMBA walk with operators to facilitate achievement of production requirements, consistency and teamwork• Provide regular communication, feedback, coaching and ongoing support to operators regarding process• Monitor and ensure a positive work environment for employeeExperience• Utilizes his/her strong leadership skills to build a cohesive and high performing team• Demonstrates high degree of accuracy.• Demonstrates good judgment in using tools, equipment, etc., when non-standard situations arise.• Makes effective use of work time.• Demonstrates creativity in recommending improvements in procedures and processes.• Maintains good attendance and punctuality as defined in Attendance Policy.
