Job summary

Taylor Corporation's North Mankato, MN facility is seeking a Production Team Lead to supervise the production floor, coordinate activities, and guide operators and support staff on daily goals and quality checks. You will establish run priorities, manage WIP reporting, and ensure safety and efficiency while meeting customer requirements and quality standards on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction on the production floor personnel.
• Coordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments based on work volume.
• Learn all equipment to assist operators and run a machine if needed.
• Establish run priority based on customer requirements for all operators, assemblers and packagers.
• Manage daily WIP reports and track progress.
• Set daily, monthly, and annual goals for team members to meet production targets.
• Verify quality routines, including startup and process controls, and ensure print material quality.

Your Opportunity

Folder Works, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Production Team Lead in our North Mankato, MN facility.

Work Authorization

Your Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction the production floor personnel
• Coordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments to personnel based on work volume
• Willingness to learn all equipment to understand how to assist operators on the floor and run a machine if needed
• Establish run priority based on customer requirements for all operators, assemblers and packagers
• Manage all aspects of the daily WIP reports
• Establish daily, monthly, and annual goals for team members to ensure production goals are met
• Confirm quality-routine checks, including process startup and control
• Print quality, cutting quality, Finishing quality, packaging quality

Your Shift

2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

You Must Have

• Strong computer skills with a familiarity of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Team player and self-motivated
• Highly detailed-oriented and quality focus driven
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy and understanding of each job ticket

Requirements within this position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19 - 22.

The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
