Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is seeking a Team Lead for our Production/Warehouse in Indianapolis. You will support the Operations team to remove roadblocks and drive KPI performance in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

Responsibilities include maintaining a Lean work environment, resolving daily issues with the team, identifying training gaps with the coach, and championing SOPs. Flexibility for shifts and overtime is required.

Responsibilities

WORK HOURS:

Monday – Friday; 3:00pm - 11:30pm

• Mandatory overtime, which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

How You Will Make An Impact

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Team Lead has a critical role and is responsible for problem solving issues and supporting our Operations team members to remove roadblocks and solve problems to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

Education/ Experience

• HS Diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
