Job summary

Winona Foods in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Team Lead to supervise and coordinate production on the line, guiding a team to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets. This full-time role features 1st and 3rd shift options and a competitive hourly wage.

Under the Production Supervisor, you’ll ensure proper line setup, inventory control, GMP compliance, and training for team members, with emphasis on safe job performance, accurate paperwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months of related experience to become familiar with processes and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office programs is necessary.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents.
• Ability to write standard documentation.
• Ability to effectively present information to other employees in the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to team members including but not limited to: Safe job performance, Proper line set-up, Paperwork verification, Job responsibilities, Work area cleanliness, Quality of production.
• Follow all safety protocols
• Provide support for line samples
• Provide support for team member training
• Check-ins for all team members to ensure support and engagement
• Communicate with Maintenance to provide insight into line breakdowns
• Assist Supervisor to drive and test process improvements
• Train to Back-Up Supervisor on an as-needed basis
• Train to Back-Up Operators on an as-needed basis
• Accurate inventory Control of all packaging materials and finished goods pallets
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Comply with GMP standards as set forth by company
• Sanitation and all other duties as assigned

Summary

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead works closely with the employees on their respective line to while providing direction to drive overall performance in the department.
