The role supports equipment performance, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in team coordination or manufacturing, strong communication, and a focus on quality and safety.

About the Role

TheEssity Manufacturing Professional HygieneNorth America Converting Team is currently searching fora Production Team Lead.This role will be based out ofourBordentown, NJfacility.

The Production Team Lead supports daily operations by coordinating activities, managing priorities, and facilitating communication across the team. This role provides administrative, operational, and production support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include monitoring workflow, tracking progress toward goals, resolving routine issues, supporting equipment and process performance, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.

Work Schedule - Monday - Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and loss elimination.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Track the day-to‑day progress of tasks and ensures that work is being completed on time and within expectations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
• Contribute to achieving team objectives.
• Work closely with other departments and stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Ensures that resources (materials, tools, etc.) are available to the team.
• Anticipate future crew needs and plan accordingly (trials, c/o, coverage, training, EO work etc.).
• Lead onboarding and facilitate continuous learning & coaching for new and existing team members.

Who You Are

• High School Diploma, Technical School Degree, or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a team coordination or administrative role with a solid understanding of operational workflows, task prioritization, and resource management.
• Relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Basic literacy and math skills.
• Strong basic problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
• Experience in supervisory role with proven success in leading and motivating teams is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
• Safety Awareness
• Bilingual is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Compensation:

Starting Pay $25 to $29 per hour + quarterly bonus + full benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
