Come join Nolato Contour's team as a production team lead! You will be primarily responsible for facilitating and coordinating daily shift activities for a designated area, supporting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets and goals. The production team lead will co-lead daily shift activities and perform some direct labor functions as necessary.

Nolato Contour specializes in injection molding and assembly of plastic and silicone for medical and pharmaceutical customers.

We have immediate openings for production team leads on 12-hour day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Print work orders for rework or inspection of products.
2. Participate in discipline issues.
3. Identify problems through Gemba Walks and apply our problem-solving methodologies to improve processes.
4. Make decisions to minimize downtime, such as moving on to the next job if current work isn’t progressing well.
5. Assign work to operators, including job rotations based on skills.
6. Provide opportunities for operators to attend LAL training through personnel coverage.
7. Manage orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training of operators as defined by the Value Stream Manager.
8. Perform visual inspections on manual machines or with new operators.
9. Coordinate with other shifts for operator coverage during vacations or training.
10. Communicate effectively across shifts to support production.
11. Partner with the Lead Tech to run the shift.
12. Support and adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14000 policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions, completing all required training related to these standards.

Qualifications

1. Experience in a production environment is required.
2. First Responder Training is recommended.
3. Ability to read and follow work instructions and perform basic math.
4. Ambitious, quality-minded, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual.
5. Good attendance record.
6. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and occasionally lift or move up to fifty pounds.

Schedule

12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working. Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next, with every other weekend off.
