Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Aurora, IL is hiring Production Team Leads for a new 2nd shift at an established manufacturer. These are working production operator roles with leadership responsibilities over the assembly operation, focused on safety, quality, associate development, and team engagement.

Shift is 4pm–12:30am, Monday–Friday, with potential for extra shifts including weekends. Pay ranges from $30 to $35 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential, with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within a custom, built-to-order manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• MIG welding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Managing the line flow by interpreting the production schedule, ensuring inventory components are available, overseeing the expected production rate, and cross-training employees on the line
• Train and mentor production operators
• Perform regular quality checks and troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Operate equipment on the line to assist in bottleneck areas and filling in for employees on vacation
• Inputting data into MRP and reviewing production paperwork.
• Ensuring compliance with employee safety and quality and using standardized work audit sheets

The Production Team Leads will be a working production operators with leadership responsibilities over the assembly operation. They are responsible for driving safety, quality, associate development, and team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Managing the line flow by interpreting the production schedule, ensuring inventory components are available, overseeing the expected production rate, and cross‑training employees on the line
• Train and mentor production operators
• Perform regular quality checks and troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Operateequipment on the line to assist in bottleneck areas and filling in for employees on vacation

2nd shift work schedule (4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday) with willingness to work off shifts as needed, including weekends. Pay range will be $30 - $35 per hour + $1 shift differential. Full benefits package included!
