About the Role

The Production Support Technician I (Part-time) is an entry-level position responsible for basic shop maintenance and cleaning tasks to support manufacturing operations. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness standards and providing general assistance to the production team. This role will perform basic shop cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and waste removal while assisting with organizing tools and returning them to designated storage areas. Support laundry operations for shop uniforms and cleaning materials, and follow established procedures for production floor maintenance. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility, assist other shop personnel as directed, and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. This is a part-time role working 15 - 20 hours per week. Work schedule may be flexible, any time from 6am - 7pm (Monday - Friday).

Minimum Qualifications

• No formal training or education required (High school diploma or equivalent preferred)
• Entry-level position (0-1 years of experience)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of shop safety practices and cleaning procedures
• Previous experience in any industrial or manufacturing setting
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude

Compensation Range: $16 - $20 per hour

Compensation: Pay Range: $16.00 - $22.00 Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
