Pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.36, based on skills and experience.

Position Summary

Based in North Clarendon, VT, the Production Support Technician supports thermal spray booth operations by performing multiple processes that precede or follow coating operations.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
  • Care and treatment of customer inventory, ensuring safe and responsible handling to prevent loss or damage.
  • Prepare parts for processing by masking and grit blasting per job folder instructions.
  • Detail parts post‑processing according to specifications in the job folder.
  • Perform all required quality measurement and verification duties.
  • Accurately record all required quality and processing data in a timely manner.
  • Support booth operations by helping maintain tooling and staging supplies.
  • Communicate regularly with the production supervisor and thermal spray technicians to understand priorities and support the production schedule.
  • Assist the supervisor in developing processes that improve operations.
  • Strictly observe all environmental, health and safety policy requirements.
    • Keep the work area neat and orderly at all times.
    • Wear all required personal protective equipment when and where required.
    • Report safety events, unsafe conditions, near misses, etc. to Shift Lead immediately.
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card holder (ITAR compliance).
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with detailed manual operations preferred.
  • Organized and accurate documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills with co‑workers and management.
  • Self‑motivated, able to make decisions based on given priorities.
  • Experience in a production environment preferred.
Physical & Mental Demands
  • Work in a sitting or standing position for extended periods in an industrial environment.
  • Manual dexterity for data entry functions.
  • Bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
  • Lifting ability of up to 35 lbs.
  • Potential exposure to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity.
  • Cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
  • Hearing in person and via phone.
