Job summary

  • Cones priority parts at surface treatment, secondary, and Quality sort preload areas.
  • Move open pallets and whiteboard parts between processes.
  • Collaborate with Area Leaders and shipping to guarantee on-time shipments.
  • Scan labels in shipping to create a shortage list.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Description

Summary

The Production PC Support carries out all applicable company policies and procedures. Provides process priority support of cold forming, thread rolling, heat treatment, and surface treatment manufacturing processes. Ensures shipments are met, and priorities are pushed to the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following:

  • Utilize whiteboard and green sheet, P factory and AS400 to ensure priorities are being produced in the manufacturing area.
  • Walk shipping racks to identify priority and open pallet shortages in shipping.
  • Cones priority parts at the surface treatment, secondary, and Quality sort preload areas.
  • Moves open pallet and whiteboard parts from one process to another.
  • Works very closely with all Area Leaders and the shipping department to guarantee all parts are shipped on time.
  • Scans labels in shipping to create a shortage list.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills

Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The Team Member must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups and employees of the organization.

Mathematical

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Must possess the ability to use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The team member must possess the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent as needed.

Reasoning Ability

Must possess the ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
