Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Production Support Coordinator on 1st shift to perform a range of raw stock, parts identification, shipping, receiving, stockroom and clean operations duties under general guidance.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years in product support, ability to operate moving equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, and strong verbal/written communication; forklift certification may be required; familiarity with computer terminals and ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years related product support experience or demonstrated ability to perform described position responsibilities.
• May be required to operate moving equipment and saw equipment and meet OSHA safety qualifications.
• May require forklift operator certificate.
• Good knowledge of computer terminal operations.
• Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and understand related forms and specifications.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming raw stock and prepare for processing.
• Load and unload trucks and move raw material to the proper location.
• Identify and code raw material and prepare it for cutting to specifications.
• Issue jobs per schedule and update shop floor and ERP/MRP systems.
• Identify parts using traveler/blueprint markings and lay out dimensions for markings.
• Prepare and package parts for shipping, including paperwork and labels.
• Receive shipments and forward materials to the appropriate team.
• Maintain stockroom records and perform cycle counts.
• Clean parts and equipment to remove oil and contamination.
• Observe safety rules and keep the work area orderly.
