Job summary

Intralox, LLC in Harahan, LA seeks an Engineering Supervisor for the ThermoDrive Engineering Department. This role sets team goals, KPI’s, and drives production support initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to engineering.
• Solid Modeling/CAD and EPDM workspace experience.

• Clear written and verbal communication; team player.

The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for setting team goals, KPI’s and individual goals to progress global production support initiatives forward. Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machine design and/or working on a production line
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a “hands-on” approach to engineering
• Solid Modeling/CAD and EPDM workspace experience
• Must have demonstrated aptitude for creative problem solving and innovation
• Self-managed and strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Confident and clear communicator (both written and verbal)
• Great attitude and excellent team player
• Microsoft Office expertise
• People skills (presentations, training, customer visits, gathering feedback, etc)

Desired Qualifications

• Proficiency with Solidworks 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Background in machine design and/or automation systems a plus.
• Experience with or knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA)
• Direct mechanical trade experience (Machinist, HVAC, Mechanic, Construction, Furniture or Cabinet Making, etc)
• Local resident or relocation to the greater New Orleans area
