Job summary

Kerry Rothschild, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production associates on a 12-hour shift (5:30 PM–6:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule in the Foundational Technologies, Pharmaceutical division. You will optimize production and sanitation activities, uphold GMPs and safety, and drive cross-functional teamwork to ensure quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production associates, including assigning work and staffing.
• Schedule employees to optimize production and sanitation.
• Oversee training to meet Kerry’s quality and safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to GMPs, environmental sanitation and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS to resolve issues.
• Complete required production paperwork (SAP records, sanitation reports, CIP charts).

About the role

Under direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising production associates in an appropriate manner regarding all aspects of production activities including prioritizing duties, delegating work assignments, and scheduling employees to optimize production and sanitation functions as necessary.

Our Rothschild, WI location is part of our Foundational Technologies, Pharmaceutical division and is responsible for our biopharmaceutical needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of two that works with specialized lactose protein within the Kerry organization! Key responsibilities

• Ensuring all quality standards and procedures are maintained. Administers all quality procedures, GMPs, environmental sanitation and housekeeping.
• Responsible for ensuring food safety and legality.
• Participating on cross-functional teams to build a culture of operational excellence and innovation in the areas of processing, methods, productivity, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety and quality.
• Overseeing the appropriate training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve Kerry's standards for quality and safety.
• Supervise production employees, including assigning work, manage staffing, coaching, and performance management.
• Acting as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production, quality and work problems as appropriate. Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health & Safety to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Ensuring the completion of all required production paperwork including SAP records, inventory inspection, sanitation reports, processing/CIP charts and maintenance work orders.
• Participate in root-cause analysis (RCA), Fishbone analysis, CAPA, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Maintain a strong focus on microbial control, contamination prevention, sanitation, and housekeeping, particularly in pharmaceutical excipient production.
• Basic testing for compliance at the wastewater treatment plant.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $75K - $95K per year. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
