Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking a Production Supervisor in Trenton, TN to oversee manufacturing operations, coordinate workflow, and ensure safety and quality standards. This on-site role requires a strong technical background from a accredited trade program and proven leadership experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory experience, solid teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to train and guide new staff in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Typically require accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 5 or more years of experience
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Lead and direct the work of other employees

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control or package goods for shipment
• Notify maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair
• Monitor output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals
• Coordinate the flow of work through the department and ensure that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately
• Provide training and guidance to new employees
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
