The Chemours Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Melts Area at the Washington Works facility in Washington, WV. This role reports to the Melts Operations Manager and focuses on safe, reliable production with emphasis on environmental performance and cost controls.

You will lead shift teams, assign tasks, coach personnel, and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and supply chain to ensure daily goals are met while upholding Chemours’ safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4-years' experience working in PSM High Hazard Operations.
• Experience as a detail supervisor or other supervisory position.
• SAP PM experience.
• SAP Operations Experience.

• Accountable for positive environmental performance of the shift team.
• Ensure shift teams meet uptime, quality, and cost goals.
• Accountable for the Organizational Health of the shift teams.
• Assign tasks to the shift teams.

• Monitor the quality of work of the shift teams.
• Formally coach shift personnel to enhance personal and team growth.
• Communicate to/with area management.
• Communicate to/with the Melts supply chain.
• Lead Daily Management and other components within the Chemours Business System
• Interface with Maintenance, Manufacturing Technical, Supply Chain, and Reliability Engineering personnel.

The Chemours Washington Works facility located in Washington, WV has a Production Supervisor - Melts Area position available. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Operations function. This position will report to the Melts Operations Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

In order to be qualified for this role, you _ must possess _ the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4-years' experience working in PSM High Hazard Operations.
• Experience as a detail supervisor or other supervisory position.
• SAP PM experience.
• SAP Operations Experience.

The following skill sets are _ preferred _ by the business unit :

• Six Sigma Greenbelt.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement experience (problem solving, DuPont Production System ITF membership, etc.).
• Previous leadership experience or detail supervision experience.
• Operating experience with Highly Toxic Materials (Fluorine, PFIB, HFP, etc.).

Pay Range (in local currency):

$85,801.00 - $134,064.00

Annual Bonus Target:
