Job summary

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Lean / 6 Sigma certifications required.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, machinery and equipment.
• Effective cross-functional coordination with shopfloor, engineering, maintenance and QA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production workers on the manufacturing floor and coordinate daily activities.
• Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demand and targets.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Allocate resources including manpower, materials and equipment to optimize output.
• Drive lean initiatives and cost-reduction efforts across the department.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and QA to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure timely customer delivery and maintain customer satisfaction.
