Job summary

Kemira, a global leader in sustainable chemistry, is seeking a Production Supervisor for its St. Louis, MO facility. You will lead an operations team, ensure safe, efficient plant performance, and drive adherence to production schedules.

You will manage inventory, utilize SAP for reporting, and mentor operators while contributing to site leadership and continuous improvement. The role offers a hybrid work option and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing or chemical plant operations.
• Experience with inventory management and production planning.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operators and shift personnel to ensure safe, compliant plant operations.
• Drive safety culture and ensure EHS/PSM compliance.
• Manage daily production activities to meet schedules, quality, and customer requirements.
• Oversee raw materials, inventory accuracy, and finished goods.
• Monitor processes, equipment performance, and KPIs for safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Lead operator training, coaching, and performance development.
• Participate in site leadership, helping plan and improve operations.
• Support plant startups, shutdowns, troubleshooting, and incident investigations.
