Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC, a leading elevator components manufacturer, seeks a Production Supervisor in Sacramento, CA. You will oversee daily production across 8–10 hour shifts, guiding 20–25 hourly staff, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring safety and product quality.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing supervision, an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and strong leadership and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of operational or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and employee development skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, standardized work procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety, quality, and workplace standards in a unionized or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations across 8–10 hour shifts to meet production schedules and business objectives.
• Supervise and direct up to 20–25 hourly employees across multiple departments.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to monitor productivity, coach employees, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Conduct regular performance discussions and provide ongoing feedback to support employee development.
• Plan and execute weekly production targets while ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.
• Analyze operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Track quality and delivery issues and implement timely corrective actions.
• Support engineering projects, new product introductions, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Establish and enforce safety rules, PPE requirements, plant policies, and union agreements.
• Champion 5S practices and maintain an organized, safe, and productive work environment.
• Work closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams at our Sacramento manufacturing facility.
