Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a capable supervisor to lead and mentor teams across office and on-site settings. You will supervise, train, and cross-train staff to perform duties safely and efficiently while resolving daily challenges to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will demonstrate strong leadership, provide coaching, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, performance reviews, and development plans. Safety, production, and quality goals guide daily work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities; proven scheduling, planning and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and cross-train all employees so they safely and productively perform their duties
• Resolve daily issues that may arise effectively to ensure a timely, safe, and profitable project
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide coaching, skills development, guidance and support to team members
• Assist in the development of other employees including holding them accountable and providing performance feedback to the management team
• Perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members
• Assist department in meeting safety, production, and quality goals
