Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Southaven, MS facility near Memphis, TN. The role leads 10-15 hourly workers, flexing across shifts to meet production goals and safety standards.

You will supervise daily production tasks, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with planning, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure on-time material availability and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a supervisor role and an engineering background.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related supervisor role.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools.
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Able to interpret BOMs and production orders.
• Able to lift 40 lbs with or without accommodation.
• 2+ years of leadership and time management experience.
• Experience collaborating with different internal teams and locations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety for all personnel on or around production lines.
• Drive initiatives to reduce errors, improve quality and productivity.
• Adhere to production schedules, assign personnel, monitor progress, resolve line constraints, report results.
• Plan, oversee and document training of personnel.
• Conduct annual employee performance reviews.
• Coordinate with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams for material availability and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Planners, Schedulers.
• Support performance measurement and documentation of manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.
• Support digitalization efforts to implement tools like Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, dashboards, KPIs.
