Job summary

Guardian Glass is seeking a Production Supervisor (Day Shift) to join our Float Glass manufacturing team in Carleton, Michigan. You will lead a hands-on team, foster safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and drive results in a high‑volume facility.

This role requires coordinating 7–13 operators, promoting a self‑driven safety culture, and partnering with planning and contractor teams to meet schedules and quality standards.

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts from 6a - 6p with a 2 on - 2 off - 3 on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Promote our self‑driven safety culture
• Manage labor, prioritize projects and daily operations
• Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure follow up, and manage goals
• Work hands‑on with production and planning teams as needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner, elevate issues, and make decisions
• Ensure quality products are produced
• Partner with contractors and cross‑functional teams
• Monitor production systems and enter data, correct errors, and control key screens
